VAWC or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004, is a law passed to protect women and children from violence. Also known as RA 9262. Violence against women is infused with activities that aim to inspire and empower women of all ages to achieve gender equality. Across the world and in different contexts, women and girls universally experience rape, sexual violence, and abuse. When left unpunished or trivialized, it creates a pervasive culture where sexual violence is normalized, women and girls are undervalued. The law protects women and children against various acts of violence, whether taking place in or out of the home.

The second day is Christmas Day, which is celebrated on December 25 every year. ... Traditionally, people decorate their homes with bright, colourful lights and a Christmas tree. Feasts are prepared and many people also ring in the occasion weeks in advance and Christmas carols are sung for the occasion.Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of of Jesus Christ.
For me, the purpose of Christmas is to celebrate that God loves us, is with us and for us, all the time. Unlike most things, it does not have an expiry date and is not limited to one day.  We should be more giving, more caring, most kind, more respectful of others every day of our live

Environmental Awareness Month

Environmental awareness is to understand the fragility of our environment and the importance of its protection. Promoting environmental awareness is an easy way to become an environmental steward and participate in creating a brighter future for our children. For healthy living, environment plays an important role. It provide us air, food, etc. It is correctly said that ' thkge difference between animals and humans is that animals change themselves for the environment, but humans change the environment for themselves'. Environment is just like our neighbourhood, its surrounding conditions influence us and modify growth and development.

We observe the month of November as Filipino Values Month.  This will help us keep ourselves together as one people of one blood.We have a lot of good and unique Filipino values that made us known to the world. Let’s do our best to value, treasure, and preserve them.These values mirror the Filipino people’s rich heritage of history and culture. They manifest the things in life that Filipinos revere. With these values, Filipinos have coped with the vicissitudes of life.It has a big essence as a filipino citizen because we reminiscince the life of the filipino and showing our love to our country and being proud of it. And celebrating Filipino Values month is seeing other countries that filipino are patriotic no matter what or so proud to what cultures and origin they are.

Children’s Month is an activity conducted every November annually that commemorates the adoption of the Convention of the Rights of the Child by the United Nations General Assembly. Children's Day is celebrated to honor children globally aiming at protecting them from working long hours in dangerous circumstances and allowing access to rightful education and also to promote mutual exchange and understanding among children and  to initiate action to benefit and promote the welfare of the world’s children, and bring awareness to all the children around the globe who have been subjected to violence in the forms of abuse, exploitation and discrimination.The real essence of children’s day is to understand the importance of childhood in our lives. The principles and disciplines learned as a child are responsible for what he or she becomes in the future, thus childhood should be celebrated. This day is a reminder to all the adults about children’s right to enjoy their childhood without any boundaries and to be given basic education for a better life.

United Nation Day, above and beyond, is celebrated to remember the organisation of the United Nations and its agenda of promoting human rights, diversity and progress across the world.The United Nations observes designated days, weeks, years, and decades, each with a theme, or topic. By creating special observances, the United Nations promotes international awareness and action on these issues.  The majority of observances have been established by resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly, although some have been designated by UN specialized agencies. It also observes anniversaries of key events in its history.The United Nations, as an organization is well known to just about everyone around the world. They participate in activities ranging from assistance in times of disaster, both those coming from natural disasters and those caused by the wages of war. They offer medical assistance to those in need in these places, as well as providing clean water, food, and places to rest and recover.
United Nations Day celebrates the foundation of this great organization, and is a great opportunity for you to learn the truth about its past, its present, and what its plans are for the future.

All about second quarter

The second quarter in ICT-10. In second quarter, I learned that Html file is a text file containing small markup tags and it must have an htm or html file extension. I also cognized on how to use the different html tags and who's making the web standards which is W3C that puts together specifications for web standards. having enough wisdom about the basic html tags acquires knowledge and skills in this by study, experience, or by being taught.

World teachers' day 2019

World Teachers' Day  is held every year on October 5 to honor teachers and recognize their contributions to education and development. It is celebrated to emphasize the importance of teachers and learning and to raise the profile and increase the awareness and understanding of the teaching profession and its importance.

Teachers are known to shape the mind of youth and without knowledge no one can exist in this world. Teachers imparts good value in children and turn them into responsible citizens.

 Intramurals are recreational sports organized within a particular institution, usually an educational institution. It is one of the most significant events in every schools. Thru this occasion, every student is given an opportunity to show their talents in various sport events in either ball games or athletics. The event go more meaningful and exciting that compressed of series of skill competition such as Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball, Sepak Takraw, Chess and Table Tennis. Despite of the searing heat of Sun. Value the Essence of the Intramurals. Intramurals are  organization of sports teams created for students who seek the opportunity to play sports.

Happy schools movement is celebrated so that students can express themselves freely and promote learning in an easy and effective way of learning. Teachers and students builds and develop a happy environment and form a happy family or act as a one big family. A happy school includes Classroom management. It refers to the wide variety of skills and techniques that teachers use to keep students organized, orderly, focused, attentive, on task, and academically productive during a class.
The movement seeks to promote every school in the region as a better and enjoyable place to study.Through this program, the learners’ full potential is given the greatest attention by creating a happier and more positive school culture.
The movement aims to inculcate in the minds of students that school is not just a place for learning but also a place for fun and enjoyment as they enjoy what they are doing

This year’s theme, “Science for the People: Enabling Technologies for Sustainable Development,” The basic objective of the celebration of science month is to propagate the message of importance of science and its application among the people.  
During the celebration of  "Science Month " students are allowed to gaze at the objects displayed at the exhibit.
Students may also participate in some activities throughout the duration of the celebration of science month.

Our international programs are based on partnerships of solidarity, where we work with local organizations who understand best the realities of their communities and how issues need to be addressed. Here in Philipp, our members make personal commitments to advocate for change.

RECOGNIZING THE FULL WORTH OF OUR LANGUAGE

The celebration of “Buwan ng Wika” is part of our history. It keeps us united as a nation. The Language of a country shows how rich the Heritage and Culture.  We don’t just want the youth to celebrate this occasion, we also want them to know why do we celebrate “Buwan ng Wika” in the month of August. 

It’s for us to embrace our language.

Language serves as the bridge for us to communicate with others. Using the National Language is one of the simplest way on how we can show love and respect to our country. Filipino is what makes us Filipinos a true Pinoy.

During the “Buwan ng Wika”, there are activities we can do. This includes going to museums to see the collection of objects that are connected to the celebration of “Buwan ng Wika, Reading Filipino books such as the Literary composition of our National Hero, which is Dr. Jose Rizal. Especially, the El Filibusterismo and Noli me Tangere And according to him, “Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika, ay higit pa sa hayop at malansang isda” Those legendary words of our National hero contains millions of meanings. English isn’t the only language that shows a high level of intelligence, Loving your Language is the greatest achievement and it can make you a well-mannered citizen

 The 1st quarter has end, and we're proceeding to another stage to procreate new knowledge on the 2nd quarter lessons. so, let me share you what I've learned with that 1st quarter lessons..

I learned the history of the internet and who are the people behind the creation of internet. internet taught me that internet is not only for communication, it is also used to sell products online,job hunting and others. I acquired and learned that internet was used to communicate with others, I gained a new wisdom on how to create a blog and also learned the genuine types of blogs. blog is not only a page with articles but it is a web site with commentary descriptions of events.I might say that  the lessons in first quarter  are interesting.

We are all experiencing different destructive disasters. It can be a human induced or Natural Catastrophes, which can cause huge damage. It can destroy tangible assets, such as buildings and properties as well as human capital and thereby deteriorate production capacity.
We should always be ready. In case of an incoming disasters. In particular, some disasters are unpredictable. It comes out nowhere in anytime. Always prepare the materials needed which is the survival kit and first aid kit. Stay calm to avoid lacking of concentration. Fix the things that would be affected by the disaster
You must have the absence of violent or confrontational activity within a place or group. When a disaster occurs. Being always ready is very important. You can save your life and even other’s lives help one another for the continuity of our lives on earth.

Retain your healthy body

National Nutrition month is an annual nutrition education and information campaign created by the academy of nutrition and dietetics. The campaign, celebrated each year during the month of July. It focuses on the importance of eating proper foods which is the grow, glow and go. In addition, National Nutrition Month promotes the academy and its members to the public and the media as the most valuable and credible source of timely, scientifically based food and nutrition information
We must eat healthy foods for us to have a healthy lifestyle and to avoid diseases or illnesses. It’s important to fill yourself with foods that are good for you and will keep your energy levels at 100%. Go back to the basics and learn about your go, glow, and grow foods. maintaining a healthy lifestyle is especially important before, during, and after doing movements or works. Eat proper foods like vegetables and fruits. Avoid eating junk foods for you to maintain your healthy body. We must skip sodas. Don’t skip meals. Do daily exercises. You may jog as you wake up in the morning.

Fearsome Catastrophe

Earthquake strikes anytime and anywhere without giving us any clue.no one was able to predict when or where the earthquake hits. It’s comes out nowhere and everyone is affected in a certain area. Most of earthquakes are harmful that there are injured, their properties are ruined or destroyed and worst, some dies because of this kind of natural disaster.
That’s why we are practicing what is needed to do in case of an Earthquake which is the earthquake drill.  Before an earthquake hits you are preparing the materials that you’ll be needing and the materials you are going to use. This includes the first aid kit and the survival kit which includes the can goods, batteries, flashlights, medicines, radio and a whistle in case something bad might happen. In performing the earthquake drill, everyone must cooperate for the sake of our lives. In our school, We’ve been practicing earthquake drills. We followed what is said to do in earthquake drill. after hearing the the alarm somniferous, immediately apply “duck, cover, and hold” and when   your surroundings are not riotous, go outside and find yourself a place or an area not containing a refuge. Or an area with no possible object or material that will fall onto the ground. Avoid going near a tree or electric wires.

Our Almighty God had spoken through his people that you will be tasked to be the highest position of all government employees in the Philippine Island. You won in the Presidential Race with a landslide victory. Despite the money and political machineries used by your opponents. The voice of the Filipino people had firmly agreed that you will be the President.
We Filipinos wanted change, those for you had expressed their votes against the traditional system employed by the past presidents of the Philippines. Filipinos are tired of hearing beautiful speeches without being transformed into concreate actions to help the poor. Many people are still facing some problems. As where to find money to buy medicine, clothes, food and other needs. Many parents cannot afford to send their children to school because of lack of financial capacity.
We are joining our prayers that God will help you in your tasks in leading this country towards real social and economic upliftment.  We do do believe that you can make a great change which you had promised to the people. You also promised to stop the drug menace in our country that seems to be impossible in the perspective of men.

Glorying our Freedom Day

Independence day is freedom day. We celebrate independence day every 12th day of the month of June to publicly acknowledge our freedom. Each of us have its own freedom. We have the freedom and rights to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.
Independence day is a National holiday. So government offices are closed. There are absolutely no classes in all schools because this is the time when a country or regions gain political freedom from outside control and the state of being independent. We must be independent by not requiring or relying on others. We should show a desire for freedom, the state of being free. All of us needs freedom. We can all see the struggles of each and everyone to win his or her freedom. You are free to do whatever you want. this is a free country
