The
celebration of “Buwan ng Wika” is part of our history. It keeps us united as a
nation. The Language of a country shows how rich the Heritage and Culture. We don’t just want the youth to celebrate
this occasion, we also want them to know why do we celebrate “Buwan ng Wika” in
the month of August.
It’s for us to embrace our language.
Language
serves as the bridge for us to communicate with others. Using the National
Language is one of the simplest way on how we can show love and respect to our
country. Filipino is what makes us Filipinos a true Pinoy.
During the “Buwan ng Wika”, there are activities
we can do. This includes going to museums to see the collection of objects that
are connected to the celebration of “Buwan ng Wika, Reading Filipino books such
as the Literary composition of our National Hero, which is Dr. Jose Rizal. Especially,
the El Filibusterismo and Noli me Tangere And according to him, “Ang hindi
marunong magmahal sa sariling wika, ay higit pa sa hayop at malansang isda”
Those legendary words of our National hero contains millions of meanings.
English isn’t the only language that shows a high level of intelligence, Loving
your Language is the greatest achievement and it can make you a well-mannered
citizen
